House and Universe is a small custom furniture making and woodworking studio founded by sculptor Stephen Eakin in 2021.

With a strong interest in clean, minimal, contemporary aesthetics and a love for traditional woodworking, House and Universe aims to create functional objects that transcend their use and enhance the life of the user.

Trained as a sculptor, Eakin brings a critical eye to every piece he makes, pouring over each detail so you can trust that the product you receive looks its best for the duration of its life.
